Production Blog: Only the beginning...
Hey, Kensters! It's me, Kenisha. Currently, I am figuring out how to create my commercial. I gathered all my pictures and videos and entered them into one album to make things easier. This way, it will be easier to pick out the images and videos I need without reviewing my entire album again. I downloaded a few editing apps to see which one I use comfortably. After comparing their features and reviews, it came down to "Capcut." This app is amazing. Just when you come into the app, there are not any extra unnecessary things there. It is very simple to use, and it's completely free. So, as I was maneuvering around the app, I started to create my commercial. I clicked to create a project, and it guided me to where I needed to be to edit my commercial. I added all videos first since they took some time to download in the app due to the capacity. Then I added all my pictures. I thought about the order I would put my songs in to see which one was a smoother transition, and it is taking some time, so I will worry about that later. I've learned to not spend all my time trying to figure out something when there are other things to be done. I clipped out some long unnecessary parts of my video, such as irrelevant talking and background sounds. It is very important to have nice engaging content to draw your audience's attention to your commercial. There are many transitions, so I am debating whether the media should dissolve into each other or fade in and out. Hmm, also, the length of the commercial usually, when a commercial is long, it loses my attention easily. It is going to be a quick but also informational commercial about me. Anywho, until next time. Bye, Kensters!
